Lacy Phacelia is a native annual flower that can be commonly found growing on sandy or gravelly slopes of foothills in the western United States. At maturity, this plant reaches the height of 18-36” and features fern-like foliage and long unusual stamens that protrude from five lobed bell shaped lavender blue flowers which have the sweet smell of grapes. This plant can be grown in a container, attracts bees, butterflies, hoverflies, hummingbirds, and tachinid flies, creates biomass, tolerates drought, is resistant to deer, self sows, and is great as a cut flower!
