Elephant Ear Stingray is a very unique variety. Mature leaves get large, with a narrow tip at the end that look like real aquatic stingrays! These plants are great for areas without direct sunlight, though they do need some humidity to remain happily growing. Mature plants reach the heights of 5-6', with leaves spanning 10-20". We are currently selling 3” tall starter plants as shown below in a 4" pot. Shipped bare root, pot not included.

Alocasia Care
Alocasia comes in many sizes, shapes, and colors. They prefer a moist, well draining soil in bright, indirect light. I plant my Alocasia varieties in a general growers mix with about 20% added perlite, both of which can be found at most greenhouses or garden centers. As direct sunlight can burn most alocasia's leaves, they prefer to stay in an area with bright, but not indirect light, though some varieties do grow well in full sun. These plants produce pups via runners that grow up around the base of the mother plant, and can be separated once they have their own set of leaves. Pot these plants up a pot size before they are completely root bound.
